I am a Midwest guy planning a archery trip to Colorado unit 62. I am planning on setting up camp somewhere in the Love Mesa area. I have heard good things about the Kelso Mesa but I cannot figure out how to get up there without paying a trespass fee. It appears to be all private ground on the far west and the rest of it seems to be surrounded by cliffs. Does anyone know if there is a route from the bottom(east) side or maybe off the North side (Long point) and if so how far is it by foot.
