Colorado unit 77 or 78?

I am planning a DIY backpacking hunt in Colorado unit 77 or 78.  We plan on hunting the Weminuche wilderness area.  I would appreciate any help I can get.  I am looking at either the Middle fork trail head, or the Williams creek trail head.  I plan to scout the area in late July, or early August.  I am interested in finding out how crowded these trail heads get during archery season, and weather my attention should be directed at another area of the Weminuche.  We have thought about the West Elk Wilderness area as well, but would need to be able to draw it in the leftover draw in August. Any help and or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.
