Colorado Units 31 and 21

Taking my dad on his first elk hunt this fall and was wondering if anyone had any information to share on either of these two units, i like the northern portion of 31 but heard it can be a nightmare to access public land, any info is very much appreciated, would really like him to be able to get on some elk before he cant climb up a mountain anymore. Thanks

Did you end up hunting either of these units? I am interested in both of them for the upcoming elk season. I hope your time in CO went well!
