OK, I have not been getting into the details of this so I may be missing something.

How in the heck are people allowed to walk in and seize and take control of a Wildlife Refuge Headquarters and nothing has happened to them ?

This happened like 18 days ago.

Why are they allowed to stay there? How come they just don\'t arrest everyone?

Seal the place off and make them give up after they run out of food.

What am I missing?

The last I heard about this situation is the tribal council was concerned about artifacts being destroyed near the compound due to people wandering around the premises.

Since this is kinda old news and not regional to here maybe someone from Oregon can update the current state of events

Interesting on the tribal I did not hear that.

Reason I asked was I watched the news last night and they showed the Bundy guy and his cronies go to a meeting that citizens where having about this. (I think it was at a school) The people at the meeting asked them to leave and the news was interviewing them as they where leaving and they walked right past police officers and drove back to the headquarters they took over. Thais why I was like WTH how come they just don\'t get arrested... :wtf:

So this news item popped up today...

<!-- m --><a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/oregon-governor-rips-refuge-occupiers-feds/ar-BBowL9m?li=BBnb7Kz\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/oregon ... li=BBnb7Kz</a><!-- m -->

Amazing how the State and Federal Govt can keep kicking the can down the road.

Threaten to take away their AMU grazing rights on public land if they don\'t comply with the law. Also suspend ALL of their USDA subsidies. That will get them out of there in a big hurry.
