I?m out in Nebraska doing some ML whitetail doe hunting.
Spent yesterday poking around some riverbottom but not too much action.
This morning I went to another place that I was told about.
Never been there before so I hiked in and checked it out.
I made a loop thru, saw some deer at a distance, so I found a place to make a ground blind for a future hunt.
I figured the deer movement was over for the morning so started the 1 mi hike back to the truck
Hadn?t gone very far when I saw some deer headed my way.
Luckily I was on a slight rise so I had a good vantage point
There was about 8-10 deer moving thru!
I took off my pack and used it for a rest.
A doe stopped and looked and I let her have it.
160yds - 370gr maxi ball did it?s job
