You\'re in your honey hole..... it\'s the perfect morning, you are just waiting for the deer to move... and here comes a coyote.

Do you ever shoot them? Does it ruin your hunt? Do you let them live?

I shoot them. they generally do not drop on the spot so the area is not overly contaminated by hauling them out. I have an old arrow and broadhead in my quiver just for that reason. Years ago I didn\'t so as not to disturb anything, but it\'s just too much fun not to now! My son shot one last year from his deer stand and it only went about 10 yds and left a lot of blood but deer were on the camera that same night.

Shoot them every chance I get. If there was a coyote and a deer standing in my shooting lane at the same time, I would shoot the coyote hands down. They kill a lot of deer and are way over populated where I live.

yep kill a lot of them: like brad all winter long that is what I\'m doing. I remember a particularly good winter when I was attending/well I was supposed to be attending college my buddy and I killed 33 and had to turn in the tail to get a $10 bounty. calling is great fun love watching a pair race each other to that call.

My son shot one this evening down at the farm. Doubt it messed up that stand. They certainly need to be thinned out down there!
