So I put a camera up in the spot I passed on that mature deer (That I regret passing)

Well.... I have pictures of him.... and I am kicking myself in the butt even more.

He definitely seems mature, but now I am not sure if he is a broken horn, non typical or both....

DOH!

Just looked at these pics and even tried to enhance them. It is very hard to tell. It almost looks like his G3 on his right side is very palmated. Tough decision but knowing what you have seen I can understand your decision.

It\'s a funky rack for sure and that is very enlarged.

I had a lot of action on that camera after I put it up.... lots of broken up bucks down there... I need to find the buck that whooped their butt.

It looks like there may be something on his antler. Maybe it is not so weird.

I am starting to doubt this is the buck I passed on.

This camera was 600 yards away from the pictures I posted in the OP, same day.
This guys doesn\'t look busted, just odd.

Now I want to find him....

I remember your call that day after you went back to the truck.

I passed some bigger deer early in October and then didn\'t see them again. I think next year things will change.

Remember you have 2 buck tags. Don\'t pass on anything the first day that you wouldn\'t the last day. You can save one tag for the big guy.

I also think next year things will change. I plan on taking first fair buck I see, then hold out for the big buy!!!
2015 was a learning year. :upthumb:
