Early birthday present...CO archery Mtn Goat tag

Looks like I\'m showing a 560 for my mountain goat tag looking at the Colorado back door! I\'m stoked and looking at my maps already! My birthday is this Friday, so I\'m feeling very lucky right now.

Thanks guys! Brad, I wouldn\'t say I expected it, as the CPW method for drawing goat, sheep and moose is dependent on the random draw number one gets. I had 9 weighted points, so I had a good number as the divisor into that random draw number. I\'m always hoping that the random draw number that is assigned has low numbers at the beginning - I guess my hopes came through this time!

When my buddy drew this tag 3 years ago, I went with him to the CPW mandatory class for sheep and goat hunters. In that class there were people that were applying for over 30 years for these tags, so I am happy I was able to draw.

I was gonna say, people go their whole lives without drawing sheep or goat hunts, this is huge!
I chalk it up to you helping all of your family last year.

Dan, thanks for the kind words. My buddy that I helped on his goat hunt & his elk hunt last year, as well as my other buddy I helped get that big elk last year are both wanting to help me out on this hunt.
