Anybody have any experience with this frame? I was looking at a Kelty Cache Hauler like Brad uses but I found this one as well. I like my X2 and the Mainframe is compatible with other bags from Eberlestock. Primarily looking for something comfortable to haul meat but may use it for a bivy hunt as well.

I looked at that pack frame before purchasing my kelty hauler. I too have an E. X2 and love it as I primarily do day hunts, but was in need of a good meat hauling pack. After trying both on and walking around the store 2-3 different days in row, added some weight one day, I settled for the kelty. For me, I have a very short torso and the kelty had many more options for adjustment and was far more comfortable. The F1 fraim seemed a bit rigid (for lack of a better term) and far less adjustable. I did like the options of it being compatible with other Eberlestock bags. In the end the kelty got my money.

Here is the link to Kelty if anyone wants to look at the specs

I know you bought one of these Brad. How did it work out on your hunt this year? Was it comfortable with a load?

Pete I bought 2 of them

Yes it was just what I want in a pack - comfortable, adjustable, rugged, and wont break the budget

Here they are in action

Thanks for the input. If I bought the bag for the Kelty, would it be big enough to do a 6 or 7 day bivy?
