I was wondering if anyone has ever attended this? I\'m sure there are a few things they may cover which may be worth while but I\'m not sure if they will cover anything I haven\'t read about online in the last 10 months of research I\'ve done.

Thoughts?

Go to it.

Jim is top notch. He and his teams have probably taken more elk in the last 12 years than most people do in their entire lifetime.

He is also an avid Bow Hunter.

Yes, 3-4 years ago. Since I went in the Fall, it was more about hunting elk with rifle because it was full of rifle hunters. Perhaps the July Elk 101 will lean more towards bowhunting.

I did like how they went over elk habitat: food, cover, behavior. This was before I read some books and articles on elk behavior.

A seminar worth attending is Chris Roe\'s seminar at the Denver\'s Sportsman show in January. This year, he had it on Thursday, the first day of the show. I was unable to attend.
