I am looking for gloves for this year. My hands got REALLY cold last year late in the season. I saw some at the Cabela\'s bargain cave this winter adn maybe should have picked them up as they had the slit in the palm for the release to go through. The only thing I didn\'t like was the fingers were a bit too fat and felt sloppy. (I have long skinny fingers)

I may go look at the Mechanix gloves in camo.

(I have some in blue, hence my other post asking if elk see the color blue)

I typically carry some of the semi finger less glomits in the bag.

The mechanics gloves you mentioned work fine also in warmer weather.

I got some liner gloves on camofire ... camo, $9, I think. They work great for archery season.

For mild weather I like the little Brown Jersey gloves. For severe cold I prefer to stay indoors and not bother, but if I have to be out two pairs of gloves or lined gloves are good.

I like the cotton jersey gloves as well. Camo if I can find them. But most of them have those little gripper thingys on them. Personally, I don\'t care for anything the grips my bow. I have always felt that it could cause torque.

I have some Remington camo gloves that I picked up at Wal Mart. They have the grippy stuff on them in lines. I prefer the grips rather than a smooth cloth surface. I feel I have more control over my grip and the bow won\'t slip in my hand.

DeFeet Duraglove Merino Wool gloves.

I have very small hands. Most gloves are too big. The Defeet gloves in small are practically form fitting.

If it gets in the 20s or lower, I slip a hand warmer pack in the back of them. I used that setup for a fun 3D shoot in windchill 10 degrees without getting cold hands. I prefer thin non bulky gloves.

I picked up a pair of the light weight camo gloves at Walmart also. My Son got me a pair of under armour camo gloves for me also. Can\'t tell much difference in the 2. Can\'t remember my hands ever getting real cold in Sept & Only wear them for mabe the first couple hours of the day or if I\'m fighting my way through really thick nasty stuff. Most of the time they are in my coat pocket, but are always with me.

UnderArmour makes some great thin, lightweight gloves. I use these for most of rifle season unless it is freezing out.

I got a pair of mittens that can go fingerless (if that makes sense) from gander mountain a couple years ago that I love. I like the ability to use my fingers when I need them and keep them warm when I don\'t

the core4element gloves are great for archery--as are the rocky archery gloves---they sell both on camofire for $9 or so. wool gloves with the fold over mitts are awesome to for cold archery hunts
