My first post....Thanks all! I was blessed to get to hunt such a magnificent animal. Getting to see one is alone a vision of a lifetime! Getting to actually hold this bulls antlers in my hands is undescribable! A ture dream come true!!

Thats a sweet bull. I can't wait for my day to come when I get a wall hanger elk. I don't know when that will ever happen because I hunt for meat when it comes to elk. Maybe later in life I will finally hold out for a bigger elk and not take the first one that makes a mistake.

It has always been a dream of mine to get an elk such as that. It is so hard to put the feelings into words. Just seeing a bull like that is amazing! Killing him is indescribable. What made it the best was hunting that bull for 15 total days with 3 trips to go after him. I lived with that elk for days at a time. The things that bull taught me was something else. Walking up to him and finally holding his antlers was exhilarating but saddening at the same time knowing the hunt was over.
