I admit I have a Facebook account. In my defense, I got one to keep in touch with some custom knife makers.

As a by-product I\'ve gotten reacquainted with some old friends. So it hasn\'t totally sucked.

But several notable sucky highlights:
1. A car friend that always post about his aches/pains/illnesses
2. A lady friend venting her sucky life and her hate towards men (my BFF divorced her:)) she is still a millionaire.
3. A old HS guy that keeps posting up \"glory days\" high school football pics of himself

Wow. I\'ve posted once. And it felt weird. Haha.

Anyone?

I\'m on the Book of Faces as well. I like to keep up wit my brother and his kids out in Cali. I too have some folks that annoy the hell out of me.

\"I hate Mondays/TGIF/Is it 5:00 yet?!?!?!?!\" lady (Shut up)

\"Look at my awesome newborn\" guy (Sorry, newborns suck...I\'ve had two of them...they both sucked)

\"I\'m 42 and still skateboard\" guy (Lame)

\"Pictures of my meal\" people (Just eat. Please chew with our mouth closed and don\'t smack your lips)

\"I\'m drinking tonight!!!\" people (I get it, you\'re old enough to drink...you\'re 40 years old!)

\"Kitten/puppy pictures\" lady (My lovely wife, I love you...but if you post another kitten picture I am likely to disembowel one in front of you)

\"Videos of my dog being a dumbass\" lady (Again, honey, I love you dearly but quit posting videos of my dog looking like a tard or I\'m going to let her do the buut0scoot on your pillow)

I don\'t know what these things are called but I hate them:

I have never been on it. My wife does but my time and life is way more important to me than wondering what everyone else is doing. I could care less what others are doing.

I do however read every post from everyone on this site. I can\'t wait till we start planning our hunts this year. I like the what would you do posts and the map study ones. I am here to learn more about what I like to do. :mg:

I only have a fb page to view my friend\'s photo albums of her trips. She told me she wasn\'t going to post them any place else. Plus, she posts 1-3 times a week a pic of her restaurant meal (neat interesting dishes) and alcoholic drinks. We have in common the love of food and drink, so I go there to drool. She only posts cool stuff, therefore, she is the only person I truly follow.

Most people I am \"friends\" with are family who rarely post. I mostly turn down friend invites.

I do not post anything. I simply use it to view other people\'s stuff. If it wasn\'t for my one interesting friend, I would have removed my account 3 years ago.

I hate fb for many reasons. I am not the typical fb user.

3 years ago, my East Coast brother could not wait to post about the death of our step-father who I was extremely close to (like a true father). I found out about his death on fb 30 minutes before my CO brother called to tell me. CO brother was waiting until the sun was up in CO to call me. My CO brother was extremely mad at our brother and slammed him for doing that. I too was mad, but I vented to my East Coast aunt rather than my East Coast brother. I never told our mother about it because it would just upset her. Hence, my deeply rooted hatred for fb. A similar fb experience happened to another family member when someone else in the family died. Seriously, informing the world of a death in the family via fb minutes or hours after the person\'s death is just plain wrong. Stepping off my soapbox now...

I have never tried to unfriend someone on fb. Does fb zap you via an electrical charge through your computer if you try to unfriend someone?

With an outdoor business, you are pretty obligated to have a page. I have a personal page, and an Elk Mountain Page.

My only requirement to accept a friend request from someone, is they must have a picture of a dead animal somewhere in their photo gallery. Not making friends with antis has kept them off my pages, and I have a couple thousand \"friends\" ...most all being hunters.

I do like the Birthday reminders when it comes to the folks I truly care about. Can\'t rely on memory so much these days.

I do not spend a lot of time on FB lately. I will skim over the news feed and avoid the dumb or irritating stuff. There is good info there, but you really have to be able to weed out the B.S., its a learned talent. :D

I have a Personal FB account and there is BTO Facebook account.

I must mention that FB is \'old school social media\'.
Instagram and Snapchat is the popular media now

BTW
BTO is on Instagram!
We have 263 followers and are following 219

I deleted my FB back in 2011 and have not looked back.
It seemed like no one would want to talk because they knew what was going on with my life from that.

Now the people who actually want to talk to me are forced to seek me out!

If I ever get stationed overseas again I will make one to keep in touch with family.

I admit I still have an account, but never use it. The only reason I keep it is because pics of my kids get tagged to me, so relatives are able to see those. If it weren\'t for that, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago.
