Took a gamble and went camping this weekend. Wanted to be home for the 4th for a neighborhood celebration otherwise could have stayed the week. We didn\'t make any reservations but my wife and daughter prefer to be near a vault toilet if possible. With the truck packed we headed off! To find a place with premium sites available, in a campground where you couldn\'t see adjacent campsites, surrounded by these views...it\'s a place you hold with tight lips. :upthumb:
On the road going up, Moose! (Crappy picture taken through a very dusty windshield)
We arrived kind of late due to the sucky traffic through Denver. Learn to drive people!
Next morning we went on a hike and had a good tip to bring the fishing poles. I wished I had brought my fly rods but this was so last minute I\'m happy I remembered the casting poles.
My daughter\'s first trout. (We fish a local warm water pond where she catches tons of other fish)
Slippery little buggers!
Amazing views!
It took a LOT of bribery from my daughter to get my son to try out her teeter totter.
The creek behind our camp.
My daughter was sick of the biting flies and decided she\'d rather be too hot.
This one doesn\'t need words...
