Got up early and went fishing.
A nice 27 incher!

dan, a big one like that will!. they have big shoulders and will stay down when they want to :)

Awesome fish Brad! A 27\" walleye is nothing to scoff at. There is another good size walleye there as well. Good eating!
 
Brad, just curious but how deep are you fishing and what were you using? Lindy\'s? I know every lake is different, but we have been struggling with the walleye lately. Caught a bunch of bass and perch though.

Walleye are known to be very finicky
This time of year I like to troll crawler harnesses with a spinner.
Slower the better
Best speed is 1.9mph
13-15 fow

Later in summer I will switch to a minnow spinner

All my tackle is from Minnesota - hard to get good walleye rigs out here

Yeah, that other one was a 23incher.
We were on the water at 0530
Cloud cover and a breeze is key...
