it\'s been a long time coming!! wife just got a verbal invite to work!! holy kamolee!!

she got laid off about 6 years ago..no work in the commercial finance biz when the economy went tits up. she went back to school. nursing!! i calmed down with the spending..(hunts and cars suffered). we still saved money monthly..just not as much.

paid off school..and the hunt began.

they called her today!! only need a physical and she signs papers. sucks she caught the flu bad and cannot relish the thrill with me..i am laying here..dying to tell someone..so i am telling you..my hunting buds.

she offered to send me to Alaska..but no thanks. i want to ramp up the savings some..before i do that!! we have some catching up to do.

i am really proud of her. she just cleared every hurdle put in front of her..one at a time. no complaining. NONE!! straight A\'s!!!! the job search took one year, and i started to see her get kinda depressed with the repeat rejection letters. there were many many rejection letters.

we even tried to get her a job in TEXAS. she would move away from me. but this new job will be a moderate commute away..right in the middle of wine country!! and near my pig hunting spot. i cant wait for her to start working..not for the money..but it will really be a boost to her confidence and mental attitude..hahahahh

Good for her - and you !

The medical field is just booming here. Another new hospital opened yesterday and plans to grow fast.
Building and construction is nuts too. We plan to build 3 new schools in the next 5 - 6 years as growth is expected to increase dramatically.
I don\'t know anyone that doesn\'t have a job around here.

Congrats on your wife\'s job. Now you can afford CO\'s ever increasing NR OTC elk tags, right? You can buy one in late August or September when you arrive. No need to apply before next Tuesday.

Good deal, Cliff! Jobs are hard to come by these days; good ones even harder. Congrats to you and your wife!

cliff, that\'s sounds a lot like my wifes journey, minus the lay off part. lots of rejection letters at the big high paying hospitals. she worked at the local nursing home as an rn for the last couple years. anyways, it worked out and i now have my sugar momma :upthumb:

Wonderful news, Cliff!

Nothing more fulfilling than when your hard work pays off...a big thumbs up to your Wife :upthumb:

Congratulation elky. I am pleased for both of you. I am glad you shared the news here in our kamp. We can all share in the joy that way.

cliff my wife has always wanted to visit the wine country, if we get out that way someday i will buy you a drink of your choice if your available.

we can flip for it, lol.
my wife and i are both nurses, if we can help in anyway you know how to get ahold of me.
