I wanted to come on here and thank Elk101 and UEH for giving me some of the tools I needed to be successful hunting elk this year. Although I didn?t get some monster bull as we all hope to harvest one day, but the cow I harvested in Idaho was the culmination of the last 9 months of me getting back into hunting, into archery to begin with, and get back into some decent shape to be able to get into the mountains. I am feeling very accomplished and ready to start planning more elk hunting. Thanks to everyone whose stories, questions and answers helped me get a better idea of how to hunt elk. I still have a long ways to go.
