Any first time hunter success traditions out there?

Blood on the cheek, eating the tail, wearing the cape?

Ah, come on I know you want to share!

I usually smear some blood on the hunters cheeks. I\'ve had some hunters parents encourage the kids to eat raw organ parts. NOTE: not me, the parent

Pictures would be great too.

Nothing too exciting for me, just a few pictures before getting one of the most difficult workouts I could imagine!! It was all smiles though :D

Lots of hugs all around is all, except the new hunter has to dress his own animal while I provide supervision and advice. If he gets blood on his cheeks from that, I doubt anyone will notice since they\'re usually covered from head to toe in blood by then anyway!

The Indian way. A big bite from the liver just removed from the animal.

Separates the men from the boys.

Hahahaha, I guess I would be a boy then! I don\'t think there is any way someone could convince me to do that, let alone trying to keep it down

Hugs and handshakes. Often I use the gutting and skinning, etc. as a teaching time, so the hunter can do it on their own the next time if necessary.
