Truth be told, I\'d take a hoochie mama in a heart beat and add it to my bag of tricks.
It can be added into a cold call sequence or thrown into something else just to have a different sound than the calls I am doing with my diaphragm.
I\'m not pro at herd talk, so with that in hand and me mewing by mouth, I can sound like more than one.

full disclosure. it\'s no secret i suck at mouth reeds.
first time i tried a reed, my brother practically slapped it out of my mouth..and he handed me a Hoochie mama!! history in the making.
i squeezed the bulb a few times, and a big wide 5x5 trotted to me at a blood lust. i had to shoot him at 150 yards just so he wouldnt get too close!! i will admit and credit the hoochie mama to helping me kill my elk...and the next bull elk the following morning..i was crawling around the forest keeping my brother between me and a 5x6 elk..that elk died as well.
now? maybe not so much, but when they came onto the market, they kinda worked. oh, they dont last stored in a warm garage. now mine is more of useless tool. i tossed it. when i squeezed it, i sounded like me with a reed call.

He finally moved to an area with deer. Kansas doesn\'t have any and if any do show up they are small deer that travelled down from Iowa. So he moved to Florida.
