I just got back from a few days of scouting. I had a good time out with my non-hunter brother. The great news was; I saw 5 or 6 branched bulls, and located a good back up area to hunt in case cattle grazing adversely impacts the hunting where I normally start. All in all I consider my trip a success.

Me and me partner just got back from a scouting trip also... to an area youmay have mentioned to us, Brad. We were pretty much tripping over elk in some of the higher drainages...Its going to be a long 44 days!
