Ghost blinds?

My cousin uses one turkey hunting and has had birds walk right up to it thinking another turkey was there.
I think it's really a pain to carry around. They do work though. Kinda nice being able to move behind it without being busted.

The area I am hunting deer in has very few trees in it. Normally I'd build natural ground blinds, but this public land is kind of small and I don't want anyone to catch on I'm hunting it. Mostly because if they saw the size of the deer I was chasing they might freak ;)

So I'm considering doing something like a ghost blind or DIY type blind. That way I can walk in and out with it every hunt.

The fact I can use it for turkey too does help with a selling point..... we could always mess around with it at Tims.

I think it would work for what you want to do.

Yeah something else to use at Tim's.  We never did try out his new turkey tail he made last year. We told him he had to try it out himself first. :haha:

Buddy of mine bought one of these last spring for turkey and hunted public land with it. He was ranting and raving how incredible the thing was. He said he even had a guy walk past him 3 times before he even noticed. Not sure if hes tried it with deer yet I will have to ask him.

I'm going to order it! Seems to be lots of positive feedback and I need to pull out all the tricks for this big buck.
