I was looking for some input. I know the mountain winds & thermals keep you on your toes. However, from my understanding the thermals typically stay consistent. Cool air drops in the mornings so the thermals move down, then warm throughout the day and switch so that the thermals move uphill. I found a nice ridge top to glass the meadows from and was planning on using this vantage point come first light. I should be at the minimum 400 feet above the area I'll be glassing. Is this a set-up that I should be fine with? THANK YOU.
