Got to camp and all set up.
Cole arrived from college and we had a bite to eat
After we ate I said to Cole \"walk down that trail from camp and listen for bugles\"

He came back 5 min later and said that prob wasn\'t a good idea as he saw a cow standing there looking at him.

Tomorrow looks promising!

one of the elk books I read said of the various kinds of \"elk sign\", including tracks, poop, rubbed trees, etc...... that a LIVE ELK was the very best sign.

be encouraged.... there may be elk in your area.

Spent 3 days checking out new area with help of iceman. Saw elk 4 out of 6 outings. Heard first bugle yesterday morning . With help of friends now ready for my Dec MZ hunt. Good luck to all.
