Good Butcher

Looking for a good trustworthy butcher in the Boise, ID area. Guarantees I will get my own meat back. I don't care for jerky but I do like salami and brats.

I use meridian meats on blue heron.  They seem very honest.  They do mix animals when making sausage, brats/etc.  But I mainly get steaks/burger.

I talked to meridian meats a couple years ago and they said they aren't allowed to touch wild game because of USDA rules or some such. I will try them again, they do have a reputable name and a delicious smoked turkey.

Blake--that is the 'other' meridian meats.  The one I go to is off meridian road, kind of behind Albertsons between Fairview and ustick.
