Goose Hunting Picking Up

The goose hunting has finally started picking up. Knocked down a handful yesterday while taking a rookie out on his first ever hunt. Also tried to figure out if I would be able to pluck one with a bow, but I think it\'ll be difficult to do out of the pit. Might bring it up next time just to see... :think:

Will, is yours a lay down blind? I have one of those as well. Maybe we could give it a shot one of these days. I tried a lay down blind there before and didn\'t have much luck, but it could be worth a shot. Especially if we don\'t necessarily want them landing right on top of us so we are able to get up and draw a bow...

No, I\'ve got a double bull. Plenty big for 2. We would dig it into the ground a bit and lay a cut up sheet over it if there\'s still snow on the ground. Let me know. I\'m hooked on bow huntn geese
