A business associate told me a couple years ago he was invited on a Canadian fishing trip a couple years ago. 50 guys on a bus trying to cross the border after partying all the way from the twin cities. As the Canadian border patrol was checking ID\'s one of the more obnoxious travelers (who was saying stuff like \"check that guy, he did it\") was found to have a previous DWI. They gave him a form to fill out and made him pay $200 for \"temporary citizenship\" . They told him to present the paper to US customs on the return trip to get his $200 back. So after a long weekend of fishing, they returned to the border where the guy presented his paper.
The U.S. customs officer looked at it and said \"what\'s this?\" \"Why, It\'s my temporary citizenship paper...\"
\"There\'s no such thing\" he said. \" Better call your state legislature representative when you get home.\"
Lesson in there somewhere about keeping one\'s mouth shut.
