Are elk growing bone yet do you think?


If I get my NM elk draw, I want to head out right away and set out some cameras.

I just wasnt sure if anything is growing horns yet?

Just saw a few threads on another forum where they have deer growing antlers in Nebraska.....


This gives me hope the elk are starting too :upthumb:

Not sure if the elk are growing quite yet.
WT deer lose their antlers sooner than elk, and that difference may be why?

Dan, I just had someone show me some pics of elk up in Rocky Mountain National Park from a week ago and the bulls were starting to already grow antlers there.
