So this is how my morning started.....

I went out to start my truck because it\'s 14 degrees and I ripped the handle right off my truck......

I know that none of you remember \"Rocky the flying squirrel and Bull Winkle the moose\" but one of Bull winkle\'s favorite sayings was \"don\'t know my own strength\"... Does that apply here, Dan.... :D :D

I remember those characters and the saying. One of my favorite cartoons.

I know others are thinking the same thing but unwilling to post it......if it were a Ford then Dan would\'ve just suffered a broken nail and truck would still be intact! ;)

If I was Bull Winkle I figure my old Dodge 2500\'s door latches would be gone several times but I ended up thawing them out with de-icer...

haha possibly. It was really cold so I blame it on being cold brittle plastic, but I may have just ripped the thing really hard without thinking about it. :dk:

Oh well! Live and learn! Soft hands from now on when opening my door.

Never would have happened if they would have kept those little gutters over the door like on the older models. I have popped the door open on my Ford with a screw driver many times.

Very true.... One easy fix to minor freezing is to spray your rubber door seals with a dry silicone spray. It helps as long as you don\'t have a sheet of ice over the seal of course.
