Guns... woah

So I went out and shot today to prepare for my oryx hunt.
I shoot from 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 yards :crazy:

Before today I had never shot passed 200 yards.

It\'s amazing what a good gun can do. I shoot at steel from 300-500 and hit every time, minus 1 shot at 500. It was SUPER close though.


The gun is dead on. So now I\'ll continue practicing a bunch more and I have a feeling this hunt will go very well. :upthumb:

After this hunt I\'ll go back down to my 50 yards max :lol:

Then my .270 will be out backup. That is good out to 400

being a newly stubborn bow hunter, I want my shot at 200 yards or less. :upthumb:

i love guns. 4oo yards was my jackrabbit distance max.

where are you sighting your groups in? i was sighting my flat shooting 257wtby mag in at 2\" high @100 yards. seemed to dumb it down enough for me at that setting.

I had the 100 groups under .5\" and my 200 yard groups a hair under 1\".
Once I had that established I just shot out. Everything was grouping within a pie plate at 500 yards :upthumb:
