Look through some older posts and had not seen this tip so far.
The web straps or little bungee cords that come with the game camera I have used are about worthless in my opinion. I have gone to using Serious Ties I purchased through Amazon. The 24" ties are very strong and can be daisy-chained to use around bigger trees. So far they have performed well for me in all weather conditions and the pack-rats on the prairie seem far less likely to chew on them than the bungees that came with the cameras.
