has anyone seen the Nissan Titan diesel on the road yet?

Yikes!!!! No thank you!!!!
I would buy a tacoma with a diesel motor in it anyway though and make that my toy.

Just think at the rate the costs are going you will be able to get a 20 year note on a truck just like a house..........

That actually doesn\'t sound too crazy to me. Here is Colorado, you can find them in the low $50k range it looks like, which seems similar to Fords, Chevy, Dodge, etc. But that is definitely a big chunk of money!

I have noticed that notes are getting extended with the banks. they have to, to be able to have affordable payments......... heck, a crewcab 4x4 lariat with a diesel will run about $70k :downthumb:

Pretty sure i passed one in my 2004 F150 going up La Veta Pass but went by so quick thought it was a Dodge!!

Spot on with the Lariat price. Buddy in OKC bought a new F250 Super Duty with CNG and it was around $60. For those prices, 2004 with 182K miles sounds better each day.

I do know the banks are doing 7 year/84 months on car loans....maybe longer.

I can\'t stand car payments. No thanks. I try to pay off at purchase. 60k ain\'t happening.

I used to pull my 32\' 5th wheel over La Veta Pass with my 2001 Dodge Cummins diesel and don\'t remember any diesels pulling anything passing me... :D :D Had to slow down for a Ford once but made up for it on the downhill side... :upthumb: :upthumb:

He only had to replace his transmission 4 times a year   :haha: :haha:

Nope... Not yet... A bit over 200,000 and all I\'ve had to replace was a clutch slave cylinder... I knew not to get a auto transmission strapped to a Cummins diesel... :D :D Too much horse power and torque from the Cummins for an auto...... Got a 6 speed manual instead... :upthumb: :upthumb:

The Dura-Max and PwoerStroke seem to work OK with auto\'s since they don\'t have enough UMP to hurt them...

By the way I forgot about the time my son and his family followed us to Colorado for our last archery hunt... They were in his 2005 Ford PowerStroke diesel pulling our ATV trailer with two 4 wheelers and a generator on it... Did I mention they followed us... :D :D

My step father has the 99 cummins with the 6 spd manual and that thing is a work horse!!!

Just had a thought. With 7 year loans, maybe I can find a foreclosure or short sale on a lightly used truck!

My oldest son bought a \"slightly used\" Ford F-250 Super Duty diesel last fall at a great savings... I didn\'t get to ride in it much or drive it any before my lung biopsy and collapsed lung but it seem to ride a lot better that my ol\' Dodge... :D :D He had been looking since fall 2014 for a good deal on a used diesel and finally found one last fall... :upthumb: :upthumb:
