Love the horses in some instances, hate them in others. Packing meat out there's no question they are the best! It's really cool to me how close you can get to game animals while you're riding. There horse seams to calm them but they don't know what to make of me sitting on the horses back.
When I want to get serious about hunting or I'm doing archery I don't use the horses as much. It can be annoying to take the time to saddle them up in the morning or if you split from other horses they make too much noise calling back and forth.
I see them as another tool to use in the hunters arsenal. Great when you need them, but often times its nice to go without. That's my thoughts! I'll see if I can post pics later.
