Not sure about everyone else, but I am WAAAAAAAYYY busy these days.

Just last week I got handed another $300k in projects

That takes it up to $1.7 million in 14 construction projects to do in the next 4 months

Alaska wont come soon enough!

Pretty busy with life here lately, too. Work remains as busy as I\'d like, and I\'ve added some teaching to that, which I enjoy, but it takes time to do it well.

This is the season that I like to make hay ... summer and September are coming, and I need to have my stuff organized!

ive been duck hunting 2 days, turkey hunting in mo 1 day and ks 2.5 days and fishing 2 days since SEPTEMBER 2014. that is gonna change very soon.

Been pretty busy here too. Just waiting for that to pay off...or hoping it does at least.

whatever..;)

i\'m selling a house. fixing things.. the house is 2 hours away. i moved into a tiny ass apartment. all my tools are in storage. \"tool run hell\" house list on the 19th. paint, appliances, some electrical, yard work, all new lights. and now finally a leak in the back yard irrigation. WAH!

and i am house shopping. agent calls, i scurry off to see the property. i have a price limit..i can buy and pay 20% without selling my first house. so i am actively shopping. when my other house sells..believe me i will have a SWAGGER when i walk into a potential property.

i tranfered to a new office. my new office is full of new engineers. i came in from the \"big city\" so everyone wants to see what Mr San Francisco can do. i have 3 projects handed to me. one of them is night work!!! i usually have a couple of lower eng do the night work, but this office is running a skeleton crew. batter up!! all three jobs start June 15th, when the environmental regs let them start. i am getting ALL of their submittals and reviewing them proactively so we can be ready on the 15th. i have to force the contractors to submit them..it really is in their best interest. my projects total maybe $30million.

back to the storage unit. it is a 5x5..10 feet tall. i filled it with some kind of
rain-man spacial acuity. it is perfectly stuffed. no wasted space. i got an entire garage full of tools in there. special shaped things..a brandnew wheelbarrow. my shop vac.. a ladder!! if i need a tool to fix something..believe me..it is in the back of everything. buying a new adjustable wrench or putty knife just cuz you cant get to it..sucks.

i feel like i am always driving between homes.

turkey hunting lost it\'s luster for me this season..i am just so damn busy.

and my iciing on the cake??!! my inlaws flew in from Taiwan and need to be entertained. they borrowed my wife\'s car, so i am cycling around my town.

bright side..my wife is working on sending me to Alaska. we will have plenty of money.

IT Project work goes up and down depending on time of year and when our corporate software installs occur. Current project has been going close to 2 years. $6.2M original. Added $1.3M end of last year. Requesting another $4.4M this month and won\'t finish out project which is scheduled in April 2017. Just love working with Marketing....NOT. Deadlines are really just lines in the sand they can wipe through after re-prioritizing our deliverables.

Hopefully, I\'ll be moving on to another project soon which will bring it\'s own headaches!

Busy? Yes.

Found out my mom had Cancer on Christmas Eve. Surgery in January, radiation treatments every week day and I\'ve been helping driving her around to appointments. Her last appt was last Friday.

I am assistant coach on my son\'s lacrosse team which practices M, W, F & games on Sat and I\'m head coach for my daughter\'s lacrosse team which practices T, Th & games on Sat. I also help the league president keep shit in order as he sucks at it. I also drive my daughter to gymnastics as well twice a week.

My company \"shook things up\" in February so I was handed a bunch of new work, that\'s been hectic. I hate my new role. But I\'m up to three weeks vacation so I can take two during hunting season now and one for the family in the summer.

My son is going on his 8th grade trip to Washington DC and NYC this week so we\'ve been doing a ton of preparations for that trip. He\'s also been seeing a neurologist for his migraines. Things are looking better though.

All the while, I\'m back in marriage counseling again, for the 4th time, because I am a shitty husband.

Busy? Yes.

I almost didn\'t submit hunting tags this year but got talked into it yesterday. I hope things settle down.

I\'m busy too... :D :D Making lemonade twice a day....  Now I may just make gravy too... :D :D The rest of my day consist of------- ya\'ll really don\'t need to know all I do...

I would kill to be more busy right now.... anytime not busy and I am thinking about hunting or draws.......

i wish you wouldn\'t have asked...... got me thinking of everything that\'s going on..... as I just sat down for the night after getting several new house projects done after work

Toooo busy! Took last Friday off to take a couple of kids turkey hunting and didn\'t help our cause much by trying to keep up with work on the phone. This is our busy time right now. Cant wait for the weekend of the 16th. Turkeys, food and fun!

I\'m so sorry. I\'ll quit my bitching now.

Best of luck to your family.

:wtf:

Wife had her annual appt and came back with \"a lump\". Scared the hell out of us for a few days but the lumpectomy test came back as benign.

I see light at the end of the tunnel. Today, for the first time in a while I had 15 minutes to screw around online. I researched the tents on sale at Cabela\'s and came here. :tease:

Looking pretty good to draw my elk tag this year. It\'ll be a backpacking trip. I am stopping to pick up a new tent today:

<!-- m --><a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://www.cabelas.com/product/home/save-on-marmot-camping-gear%7C/pc/105625080/c/1094173380/marmot-174-tungsten-2-person-tent/1963499.uts?destination=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D1094173380\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">http://www.cabelas.com/product/home/sav ... 1094173380</a><!-- m -->

I will probably \"camp\" in my basement this weekend to test out the new pad and sleeping bag. I think with the weather and if I leave the windows open I can get it down to the low 50\'s. Hell, I may set it up in the back yard since it\'s snowing and cold.
