How many years in the same area?

I like to explore and hunt different states, but there is a definite advantage to learning an area well.  Are you satisfied with your spot and how long have you hunted there?

I do not have the advantage of living close to elk environment so we have to travel every year. As hunting any fair chase animal the ability to scout gives us a slight advantage over that animal. We have been going to the same area now for 3 years and the same general area for 6 years. Each year we learn more each and every day that we are out amongst the beauty. I know that we would be more productive if we were able to scout throughout the year. Yes I believe being able to become familiar with your area will prove to be productive for you.
