Yes, that is my son. Yes, he is okay. No, we don\'t have to do any bow shopping right before the season. Good lesson learned.

Great form though Lark! No flinching....good follow through! A new take on blind bale shooting?

I must admit I did that once at a 3D shoot with 3 other good archers looking on. I was lucky! The only thing that happened was that I lost the peep. It was kinda tough from that point on though. Couldn\'t really figure out if it was because of the lack of a peep or the extreme embarassment !

wow!!

did the camera person realize there was no arrow? i\'m guessing that was a low poundage bow?

glad it all worked out. bonus: he got that lesson out of the way. me: not yet, pending. :)

:( I was the camera person and no, I didn\'t notice until he released and it mad a bad sound. I was looking through the phone to capture the video.

He\'s only pulling 43# currently but we are still working on his draw length...it\'s changed almost 1.5\" since last year! I am trying to get his length adjusted first, then figure out how much poundage it\'s adding...it\'s been a horrible off season with getting his bow set up. He\'s growing like a weed.

I will say though, after pressing it in the field and inadvertently adding some random twists to the yolk his groups got better. :wtf:

Was adjusting the draw length for a customer and he drew back with no arrow. Three times I told him to get his finger off of the release. A few seconds after the third warning, real quick like he reached up and slapped the trigger. He had gotten into \"automatic\" mode as soon as he came to full draw and acquired a target, forgetting there was no arrow in the bow, and I couldn\'t convince him otherwise.
