How Soon Do You Leave?

How soon are you heading out to elk camp and how long are you going for? My first day in the Colorado woods is undecided at this point, but it definitely won\'t be opening weekend. I might try to sneak out for a day or two during the week though, so we\'ll see. How about the rest of you?

I\'m heading out the 24th and will be in camp till the 9th when I head home.

I am leaving on the 1st of September. I will be hunting on the afternoon of the 2nd. I will Bivy hunt for 7 days till the 9th when Gary shows up. I will hunt with him till the 22nd.

Will be arriving in camp the 30th for set up and then first legal shooting hours is 0600 1 Sept!

Leaving on either the first or second to meet up with Francis and his party and staying until Francis says its time to go home!

Our group heads for Colorado at 4pm Friday September 9th. 20 hours drive gets us to the trailhead with time to set up base camp at the road and a good supper Saturday evening. Grab the packs and spike in Sunday morning and pack out and head for home on the 24th. Going to be 3 trad hunters making up the group. Going to be a blast that\'s for sure.
