gah!! code RED!!! code RED!!

i found a used Carbon spyder 34 for sale. inexpensive compared to new.!!

what\'s the story on Hoyt? easy to tune? i think the hoyt 34 (on paper) would be the best western hunting bow. just my own mental mathematics. longer ATA for the long shots, light weight..carbon so you dont freeze your hands on the aluminum, etc.

that Dudley guy has a segment on his show..\"lock and ready to load\" or something like that..he pulls a hoyt out and takes you step by step on how to set up a hoyt. 13 segments..i looked and he doesnt have it on youtube or anywhere online..that would be a game changer for me.

since my wife started working..she has loosened up the purse strings a bit..she okay a high$ ice chest..but i couldnt bring myself to hit \"but it now\".

a new to me bow..that might change everything. she might also yell..:)

Story is Francis and Will both shoot hoyts and those guys are killers.

It\'s no mathews, but it\'ll do ;)

Weren\'t you just posting about how accurate your current bow is Cliff? Why fix something that isn\'t broken?

Ahhh, never mind...an upgrade is an upgrade! Go get it!

no..back up bow. :)

my elite while accurate is soo heavy. it the achilles heel of my bow.

I shoot a Hoyt spyder 34 and love it. I had a small issue with after I first bought it but the dealer took care of it. I shot many bows when deciding on a new bow but I always came back to the Hoyt.

I love my Spyder 34. It\'s not the carbon but still light. No problems with it except self inflicted. :silent: That\'s another story. If you can find one to shoot try it out and see if you like it. Every brand feels different to people.

i have shot hoyt for years and love them. the carbons are very nice. even a buddy of mine that has never liked hoyts bought the nitrum and says its the best bow he has owned.

Ya dang definitely not a Hoyt I mean if it was anything other than a hoyt I would buy it but anything but those. ok sorry for the sarcasm. Bows are truly personal. Some people really liked the bowtech insanity?? I think is what it was???? I didn\'t like it much it I would just mention maybe trying one before buying if you do like it then Ya go for it they make a good quality product and lots of people like them. That said you may not I did like other bowtechs so ya never really know till you try it. I do shoot another brand of bow but its not a my bow is better than yours thread.

I got a second hand alpha max 32 several years ago and had fits getting fletching clearance and getting it tuned but when I did it shoots better than me for sure. When the carbon bows came out I wanted one so bad but couldn\'t justify the $. This past january I screwed up an shot a 2015 CS30 at the local store and this was a mistake, Its almost mine now, lol. It tuned easier than my alpha max, I seem to string my shots a little horizontally more with it but not bad. It was 2 FPS slower than my AM32 but noticeably quieter, easier through the draw cycle and increadably dead in the hand. I can count on one hand the things Ive bought new, I wish now that I had got a used one and used the extra money to get a press and holder so I can do all the tuning myself. Hoyts funny about their warranty, so I figure a paid a lot for that. The only drawback is the finish already has two small chips in it, one looks like from when the sight was installed and the other is on the grip about where fingertips grip, no idea where it came from though.
I used QAD rest on both. One other thing that got me was the carbon doesn\'t transfer heat like aluminum and since I don\'t gun hunt, I had swapping hands constantly because my hands get cold from holding the bow..... I let you know how much this is a plus.

Off to go shoot it, Sep 1 is close.......
