I thought it was illegal to display any part of an animal while in transport. ???

It came up in our hunter\'s safety class. Our instructor told us the animal right\'s people had pushed their initiative to a point where it was illegal to display any part of the animal during transport. :shrug: I don\'t mind it, of course, but I have tarps in my truck just in case...\"Still Hunter\" said:

well yall are prob gonna throw something at me, but, i coulda swore i saw a truck with elk, mulie, an a small moose horn sticking out from tarps on a trailer. now the \"moose\" coulda been a non typical elk as it was very small for a moose antler. an no by the time i got turned around the truck was gone. maybe my meds arnt working.
lark, in mo when you take a \"hunter education course\" (an dont even get me started on that rant, cause i will an its ugly) some well meaning instructor always tells the kids they should respect other people an not show off there kills cause it offends the non hunting public an they vote to. well i say if you have to hide what your doing in may well be wrong to do. im not saying strap one on your roof an go drive around boulder, but not for them, but because you are gonna set yourself up for trouble with a traffic ticket or some such. just be tasteful an proud of what your doing
