Iccyman was kind enough to send some elk and deer meat this week. I have some deer meat currently marinating and I can\'t wait to cook it up tomorrow. I also installed a freezer alarm so I don\'t risk losing meat again.

I also won the Easton pack contest today which was a great surprise!

Let me know when you run low and I can send more. I am just very glad that it stayed cold.

So the steaks are all elk, the stuff in the tube type wrapping is the elk ground (15% cut with beef), and the other stuff in zip locks were the deer.
The deer was cut with 15-20% pork, so they should be fatty enough to cook and eat!
