Since I was out of the mountains so early ... :x :x ... I had a chance to go see the Hunt Film Tour in Laramie.

I was a little surprised to find that my wife said \"I saw the ads for that and was going to go anyway, since you were going to be hunting.\" Geez, she keeps getting better! So, we went to the films.

It was sponsored here by Backcountry Hunters and Anglers ... seems like a good group ... please tell me if it\'s not, because I think they\'ll get a donation.

Anyway, the films were great, and you should go if it is near you. It was a good way to \"show\" my wife lots of different hunts, and reasons for hunting. Some she liked, some she didn\'t, but it was a great way to open up some discussion.

I was surprised to hear her say \"I think I could shoot a lion. We should go lion hunting.\" (Meaning: mountain lions). Really? Of all the animals to hunt, a mountain lion? Elk and deer and antelope, I\'m told, look too much like horses. But lions ... they\'re hunted with dogs ... and she\'s always takes the dogs\' side in things!

Well, maybe it\'s something to think about for a January or February someday.

Mine Too!!

My side of the bed was pretty warm when I got back from CO.

Never knew a dog that was so jealous.

I wouldn\'t donate to BHA. By that\'s me.
Their adgenda doesn\'t align with my style.

That\'s awesome. I can\'t even get my wife go listen for turkeys to gobble

I would take her up on the cat hunt for sure. I always wanted one of those in my living room.
