Hunting Cows During Archery Season

I have hunted cows during rifle season before, but obviously things are quite different during the archery season. What tactics do you put into place if you are targeting a cow versus a bull? Are you still using location bugles to find bulls and then hoping there are cows around? Or are you just using cow calls? I will only be hunting cows only this year during the archery season, so curious what suggestions you guys might have.

Lost calf call. Sometimes they come running in.

Ditto lost calf, or loud agitated cow calls.

I use 2-3 different cow calls and make it sound like an elk party that cows just gott see what\'s going on

Good info guys, appreciate it! So will you use this as a setup, or will you mainly just do it when you know there are cows around?

Set up - every 3/8 - 1/2 mile staying about 30min in each location
