Final stages of planning an Elk Hunt in SW Colorado. Looking at a few OTC GMUs. Plan on scouting the week after labor day and hunting from Sept. 10 -16th.
I am looking for a hunting partner. Am open to any number of units. I will be archery hunting, but muzzleloader is also open during this time. I currently live in S. Cal but originally am from Illinois. Have harvested two elk in the past, one in NM and the other in CA. I am 57 and in pretty good shape. I have been hunting the mountain ranches in the west for many years chasing deer, pigs and elk.
