I dropped a weight class!

I don\'t diet. But I started eating not just better but WELL. Still trail running.

I\'ve been doing this running thing for three years. The trails, maybe the last one year. My wife insisted that I weigh myself. I am 188! I think I was 227 three years ago. I\'m 5\'11\".

I draw an elk tag, it will be a dream to hunt them with my new health. Crazy how our minds see ourselves. :)
 
That\'s awesome Cliff, congrats! Much better to do that and change your lifestyle than to diet, only to put the weight right back on after the diet :D
 
30 pounds less to haul around the mtn is nothing to sneeze at!. now, load up a 30 pound pack and hike, to remind you that was what it was like without an extra pack on.... :upthumb:
 
here\'s the kicker.

just did my blood test. cholesterol when i was \"big boned\" 257. i was stunned.

blood test friday? 172!!!! i am so gonna not die right away. :D
