but, if i have a hard time seeing the sight housing in my peep, (like i need to lean into the string about 1/2 inch in order for it to appear), what's my malfunction?  Peep placement, draw length, release extension?  all of the above?

maybe i should also note this is a short ata bow.

i sent this bow in to the shop for a new set of limbs last fall and when it came back, everything just seemed "off"...

thanks

Sounds like the peep is to small or you draw is .5" short. How does it feel when you draw it. Does it feel short?

draw feels about perfect to me.  I hit the wall and ease off just about 1/8", knuckle is under my earlobe contacting bone.

I'm going to preface this with NOT being a professional but having shot a bow for a long time and run into this with an old peep i had.

Is the current "problem" peep one that is anchored via the string in 3 places as opposed to two?  I had one that fixed inside the string at three anchors rather than just splitting and anchoring in the middle of the string and it gave me visibility issues as long as i used it.  Long story short i switched to the latter version which bisects the string and never had an issue.

Perhaps a long shot but i figured I'd throw it out there. Good luck

No, its in the right spot.  I fixed it, just needed drilled out a little bit.
