I have a Llama fetish

I drew a rifle elk tag in hells canyon (Idaho) and ever since, I can't stop thinking about Llamas.  ;D


Has anyone ever hunted with Llamas? If so, what was your experience in using them to pack out an elk?

I have never hunted with Llamas, but your post has gotten me to wonder if there is any such thing as "Llama toes" ?

I have never used any pack animals, but Goatpacking has caught my attention, they can carry about as much weight as a man and don't appear to have as much attitude as mules, horses and llamas. and you could haul them in a modified utility trailer. if you have a large yard, you can raise them anywhere.
My wife told me no, otherwise I might try this.
