he called me, and i simply just hit re-dial on my phone.
the ring sounded normal, the ship captain that answered was a new one..but when my friend got on the phone it was like i called him on a land line. clear, zero delay that i could tell, static free. i asked, \"where are you long beach?\"..he said..\"no..we are just passing south of the Aleutian Islands\".
Me, \"what!?\"
him: \"you called the ship\'s sat phone\".
blew me away. that would be a great back country elk hunting tool. i cannot wait until cost come down,but next time, i am going to try to convince my brother to split a rental with me. it was awesome.
