Mystery Ranch Dragonslayer. I bought it used and dirty. Before cleaning it, I put it on and adjusted it to my unique body shape (pear is a shape!) Felt great! Loaded it with some sandbags and shot a few arrows. Perfect. I cleaned it. Ironically with my wife\'s natural patchouli smelling detergent. Haha. Hopefully the elk/deer smell me and think I\'m about to chain myself to a tree to save it from the Lumberjacks. Maybe free homemade granola for them as well.

Anyways. This weekend I strapped my double bull blind to the middle. I flanked the blind on both sides with the blind chairs. My load was fairly heavy, but more awkward because of the sheer size. I had room to lash my two DSD decoys to the thing. The hike in was awesome. Very nimble, and the load was anchored. The pack never slid off my hips. My kifaru would be down to my ankles sometimes if I got lazy with the hip belt. (I have to do that bend over move and get downright medieval with the tug straps. )

Anyways. If I had to pick one negative? The water bladder works very \"meh\". It eats up a lot of room since there is no dedicated pouch. They have a good spot for a scope and tripod. No load lifters but the effectiveness of the hip belt makes this a minor deal.

When I get home, I\'m gonna order their version of the grab-it. Hauling out an elk quarter will be a chip shot. (For the pack).

It\'s the best day pack I\'ve run.

Congratulations on a great pack and great deal. Let us know how it works with that elk quarter in it. :D
