Hey, this will be my first year hunting big game. I'm a teacher and can realistically only hunt weekends. I was thinking about trying unit 32A because of it's close proximity (Boise area) and my limited time to be in the field. I will be rifle hunting cows since it's a longer season. I am trying to learn as much as I can and scout areas with google earth. I took a trip out there last weekend but the snow line was limiting.
I've been looking in the southern part of the unit and there looks to be a lot of trail road access. Anyone know how crowded it gets out there in the cow season? I found one thread on here about this unit but it was a few years old and only a few posts on it.
Will be doing quite a few trips out there this summer since I have them off work, to see where I can actually get to on the weekends when the season starts. Does anyone see much activity in the southern part of the unit, Mud Lake area? Or would my efforts be better spent a further north?
Thanks
