If you found my other post under gen elk, then you know my story. I am a newbie hunter, first time archery to boot. I have been getting very familiar with unit 54 roads over the past several weeks. I have seen lots of wildlife during my "scouts". I have a few areas narrowed down for where I plan to hunt. My hunt is Aug 30 - Sep 24. Does anyone have any tips they wish to divulge for this newbie? Apparently this unit is an amazing tag to draw as their are some monster bulls. I haven't seen cows but seen quite a few bulls. Should I plan on just glassing or call and stalk? Thanks for any help you have!
