looking at a new target.checking out extra large targets, not because im that bad of shoot but when setting up a new bow or introducing a new bow hunter its nice to have a little larger target.have been checking out the (big green recycled target 36 inch)has any body tried them yet or do you have better recomendations?

Have you thought about the Ames bag targets? I use the Ames faces for my 4-H kids when we get together and shoot. We have used them for several years and they are holding up well.  ;D

I like my 4x4 Block target,  arrows pull out well and its good size for the back yard.
the biggest block or any other brand I have been able to find in local stores is 24 inch.other than the new big green.was not aware block made one that big, will need to research.

I was feeling the same and did a DIY 48" x 48" target with chicken wire and rags.  It really made me comfortable to shoot at 80-100 yards, but I did have to put it on wheels so I could move it around.  When I get a chance, I will post some photos as I have it at the cabin.  I got a larger blob for broad heads.  I just don't have the confidence to consistently shoot small targets at longer distances.

I found foundation foam blocks in a scrap yard that measured 4'x4'x8'. I will cut them in half leaving me (2) 4'x4'x4' cubefor long distance shooting. They are pretty tough and will last you a few seasons.

These are not mine, but you can see the kind I'm talking about.

I shoot the rhinehart rhino block.  Love it.  I set up a bunch of hay bales and set my target in front incase i get a long shot that just misses the target.
